Meta-Chem Elastomeric Anticorrosive Paint is based on an Innovative Thermoplastic Graft Co-polymer. This product is developed after a relentless Research Work on this polymer for more than 5 years and ultimately a marketable product is brought in the year 1994. After proving the performance of the Anticorrosive Paint based on this polymer to Govt. Of India, BIS has brought a new IS specification IS 16361: 2015 in the year 2015.

This paint is formulated for application on Metal Surface for protection from corrosion from different acid, alkali, other corrosive fumes, different salts and salty atmosphere. This is the cost effective substitute of Epoxy and Polyurethane Paints. Because of its elastic property and single pack system it is the best solution for application on any vibrating or flexible metal parts like steel springs in Railway Coaches and any other Automobiles. In such application dip coating process can be followed.
This is a low viscous version of Meta-Chem – 701. Where the corrosion level is not very high, people can go for this grade of Meta-Chem Paint for corrosion protection.
This is also a modified version of Meta-Chem – 701. It has got high solid content and high hardness. Where the coating is in direct contact with the flowing fluid at high speed, there is a possibility of erosion of the coating by the impact. In such cases we recommend to use Meta-Chem – 701 H.B. as inner coat and on the top of it regular Meta-Chem – 701 may be applied. This is mainly going for Water Pipe Line Inside and Outside Coating and Concrete Tank inside coating.
This grade of Meta-Chem Paint is available only in Black colour. It is to be applied on Meta-Chem – 701. This is a very strong anticorrosive grade. Where liquid handling is there and the liquid is coming in direct contact with the coating, this coating will come as Top Coat and in other application it is to be sandwiched in between two coats of Meta-Chem – 701.
This grade of Meta-Chem Paint is a modified version of Meta-Chem – 701. It gives highly textured finish which will help in Sound Dampening and far better Chip Resistance property. It is mostly used for Vehicle Underbody application for Corrosion Resistance and Sound Dampening. It can also be used for the undercarriage of Railway Coaches.
This grade of Meta-Chem Coating is most suitable for Waterproofing Cum Anticorrosive Application. The product is having strong bonding with the concrete surface and because of its elastic property it is one of the best Waterproofing coating. Even after coating some hair crack developed on the concrete surface, it will not be visible as the elastic coating will elongate and keep it under its layer. So it has got dual application of Anticorrosive Cum Waterproofing. It has got wide application in building waterproofing, Concrete Tanks in Water Treatment and Sewage Treatment Plants, on the concrete walls of Sea Ports where corrosion by Sea Water and erosion by water impact can be protected.
This is a very tough version of Meta-Chem – 701. Because of high toughness of the coating, the impact resistance of the coating is better than Meta-Chem – 701 and also gives longer life. Depending on the customer’s requirement we propose this grade of material.
This is a Polymer Modified Bituminous Paint mainly for Vehicle Underbody Application. It has got medium anticorrosion property and some sound dampening property based on the coating thickness applied on the underbody. This is definitely better than regular bituminous coating.
